NEW BMW i7 2023

The BMW i7, the 100% electric limousine that will cross swords with the Mercedes EQS is approaching. It will be presented in the spring and its production will begin in July. It is therefore logical that it refines its development through acoustic, aero-acoustic and vibration comfort tests. In addition, the test program conducted in Munich in a new laboratory called FIZ Nord, special attention was paid to electromagnetic compatibility

the electric limousine had been tested in extreme cold, as well as high temperature tests in several desert regions of the world. Some areas with steep gradients make it possible to put the mechanics to the test even more severely, in particular the battery via long descents started when it is full and can therefore no longer absorb the energy thus generated. BMW confirms that the i7 has all-wheel drive and reveals in passing a low average consumption of 19.5 kWh / 100 km, but does not indicate the capacity of the accumulator.

The German company also confirmed that it will officially unveil the i7 2023 next April, to stand, God willing, alongside the entire new generation of the BMW 7 Series 2023, the archenemy of the Mercedes S-Class.
