Grecale Folgore Maserati's first electric SUV

Grecale Folgore: Maserati's first electric SUV is already eyeing us

After long months of waiting, Maserati is finally lifting the veil on its all-new Grecale, which expands the range and supports the Levante, launched in 2016. The latter's little brother, this newcomer to the catalog is distinguished by a slightly smaller size and a more technological driving position, among other things.   This was then available in three versions, baptized GT, Modena and Trofeo, then carrying a four-cylinder engine with 300 and 330 horsepower as well as a 3.0-litre V6 developing 530 equids for a maximum torque of 620 Nm. Associated engines to a micro-hybrid system, but so far no trace of real electrification. However, it is only a matter of time.

An electric range

Indeed, a few months ago, Maserati announced its desire to become a 100% electric brand by 2030. A deadline that is rapidly approaching, and yet no zero-emission model is part of the catalog until now. This should therefore change quickly, since the Modena firm is preparing to launch a brand new range, called Folgore.
