A new KTM 1290 Super Duke GT in development

KTM has leaked the first photos of an all-new 1290 Super Duke GT. The design is, as often with the Austrian brand, uncompromising. No time to breathe for KTM. While a Duke 990 is in development, the brand is at the same time looking into the case of its big Super Duke 1290, in its GT version. A model that has just undergone an evolution, however, without much change. A real overhaul which is therefore currently being tested and begins with a complete restyling with in particular new optics which should make people talk. A front end that seems to integrate the radar necessary for the adaptive cruise control while the Austrian retains a look and dynamic performance that is still just as sporty but with, it seems, greater attention to its GT qualities, especially on the protection side. The current 1301cc V-twin should not evolve much but still receives a larger radiator and a new exhaust line which should allow it to pass the future Euro5b standard. Regarding the cycle part, the first stolen photos suggest a modified frame in its rear part and even perhaps as a whole. The suspensions, swingarm and braking system are not expected to change. The windscreen and side fairings are also completely new.
