 Aston Martin V12 Vantage (2022)

Endangered, the dinosaurs galloping on so many "legs" can now be counted on the fingers of one hand, and this Aston asserts itself as the ultimate slap in the face by the Vantage. We blush in advance. Word of British, we will not take it back. This is the last time that Gaydon's entry-level will roar a V12 under its hood, before electrification is required in the future to make up for the lack of horsepower. In order to mark the occasion, only 333 guests – and not one more – are invited to the beauty's starting pot, in return for a very large check for the amount kept secret.

An extravagant limited series

It's the least we can do in view of the exclusivity conferred by its athletic silhouette surrounded by 360° by a carbon blade rising elegantly at the level of the air extractors housed behind the front wheels, and overhanging the imposing double-drilled diffuser. in its center to evacuate the exhaust gases. These aesthetic upheavals have required the redesign of the bumpers, as well as the front fenders, while a new spoiler is invited on the trunk.

Improved Grand Touring

The set is based on new 21” rims housing carbon and ceramic discs legitimized by the cavalry of 700 hp and 753 Nm from its 5.2 l block which sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.5 s. . A nice time however not prohibiting him from competing with that of the Porsche 911 Turbo S (2.7 s) which nevertheless gives him 50 hp. Like what Aston Martin productions, as bestial as they are, are still struggling to free themselves from the Grand Touring character stuck to their tires.
