Ford Fiesta end of version 3

To prepare for the arrival of spring, Ford is doing a lot of cleaning in the range of its Fiesta. The manufacturer tightens the finishes and engines available on its recently restyled city car, and stops the three-door version. The Fiesta was one of the last representatives in the three-door category, the Clio, C3 and 208 having deserted for quite a while. But this time, Ford has solved it: the three-door variant disappears from the catalog. It only represented very few sales, despite the sporty ST version very adapted to this bodywork. Today, the Fiesta is therefore only offered in five doors, all versions combined.

Two finishes and one engine deleted from the catalog

Some finishes are also disappearing from the catalog, such as the entry-level Cool & Connect and the top-of-the-range Titanium Vignale. These versions were the least distributed and are therefore withdrawn in favor of the core range, which the manufacturer wishes to favor in this situation of shortage of components which never ends. The entry-level Fiesta therefore becomes the Titanium Business, which is not reserved for professionals contrary to what one might think. Buying a basic Ford Fiesta therefore costs €19,190 now, compared to €16,990 previously in the Cool & Connect finish. The ST Line and ST Line X variants are still available, from €22,790, while the version with the rugged Active X look is also retained (from €23,890). On the other hand, the engine offer is tightening, since the 1.0 EcoBoost petrol engine of 155 hp coupled with a micro-hybridization disappears. All that remains is the 75 hp 1.1 at the entry level, the 95 hp 1.0 Flexifuel running on E85 or the 125 hp three-cylinder 1.0 EcoBoost combined with a micro-hybridization. The latter can be reinforced with a seven-speed automatic transmission.
