Full-face helmet and Vata7 backpack: a bright combo

Illuminating a helmet with LEDs is not new. We have had a few examples. The company Vata7, pronounced Vata Seven, founded in the United States, offers a backpack and full-face helmet set equipped with luminous devices and connected to an application to signal stops and changes of direction. In recent years, we have been able to discover many very technological helmet projects, many of these projects are fundraising and do not always succeed. Fundraising has become a specialty of some start-ups…. Sometimes, the shape of these helmets is very original, on the edge of a helmet for a visitor from another galaxy... This is not the case with the Vata7 X1 helmet, a name that would suit a Czech stealth plane perfectly, which presents a more rational hull although very sporty in its aspect. It has the appearance of AGV helmets, the fact is that the design comes from an Italian office is therefore probably no stranger. The particularity of this helmet is based on the integration of LEDs at the front and at the back. This is to provide more visibility for the driver on the road. This is not new, the Tali helmet, a concept, shares the same idea. (result) The particularity of this helmet is based on the integration of LEDs at the front and at the back. This is to provide more visibility for the driver on the road. This is not new, the Tali helmet, a concept, shares the same idea. At Shark, we have believed in this safety axis with the Skwal for several seasons and this time, in large series. The Vata7 X1 helmet lights up with flashing LEDs, which signal a change of direction, all controlled from an application Vata7 thinks that safety equipment can be worn by motorcyclists, but not only. The new generation of machine users of all kinds can also use the Vata7 full-face helmet or the brand's LED backpack, or even a combo of the two. The company also offers combined purchases at attractive prices. The X1, like the backpack, is controlled by an application that allows you to choose the desired mode: flashing visibility, warning when braking and/or changing direction. Enough to add a brake light to his scooter, additional turn signals to his motorcycle, visibility for driving his One Wheel. THE FOLLOW-UP AFTER THIS AD The X1 helmet announces fairly advanced characteristics such as a weight of less than 1 kg (!?), which seems tricky to us today (maybe in XS and S) especially since Vata7 announces that its X1 will be compatible with the latest standards: DOT, Snell, ECE-22-06, FIM… Once in production, the weight should undoubtedly exceed 1000 grams. The vents are impressive and the helmet promises to be ventilated... but what about soundproofing? The Vata7 backpack promises to be interesting in its global approach and in its tricks: anti-pickpocket opening from the inside, the presence of a pocket for the hydration bag, a power bank with USB port powered by solar energy, a protective pocket for 15 inch laptop and 24 liter capacity. There are some good ideas.
