Honda Hawk 11

It was one of the most anticipated novelties of the Osaka Motocycle Show 2022! The Honda Hawk 11 was finally unveiled by the Japanese manufacturer on March 19 and the latter is really interesting! Let's start with the style, we like it or we don't like it, but it is clear that the motorcycle of the Tokyo firm takes up all the codes typical of a "café racer". We will also be able to discern the neo-retro style that will appeal to fans of the genre. Attention, on the photo which reveals the dashboard and the interior part of the fairing, we see a finish not really in accordance with the standards of the brand (screws, finish of the fairing). This casts doubt on the state of progress of this bike. On the technical side, this bike should be based on the same platform as the Africa Twin 1100 just like the NT 1100 and the CMX 1100 Rebel. This Hawk 11 would then constitute a new model to enrich the 1100/DCT family. As a reminder, the engine is capable of delivering 102 hp and 105 nm of torque. Another feature that might seem original is the possibility that the Hawk 11 is accompanied by the DCT (dual clutch) transmission that the Japanese manufacturer so often brings forward. A cafe racer with a DCT gearbox would make the Honda Hawk 11 a definitely unique motorcycle! Finally, the vehicle is rather spoiled in terms of electronics with the presence of traction control, cornering ABS, adjustable engine braking and in particular 4 driving modes, the typical ingredients of the platform of the vertical twin in vogue of at Honda.
