 KTM 990 Duke 2023

In the KTM Duke family, after the 790 and 890, it will soon be necessary to rely on a 990 Duke. A few weeks after being surprised, new pictures of the next big Austrian roadster have just been published. The opportunity to know a little more about this new generation Duke. For the KTM 990 Duke, the return to the fore is probably not far away. After the 790 Duke in 2017, the 890 Duke in 2019, the 990 Duke should arrive as a 2023 model. For this new generation Duke, KTM is betting on a very large update. According to the first images of the bike, confirmed by the latest photos illustrating its development, the engine innovates in particular with a different architecture from the block used in the 890. An increase in displacement that the twin certainly owes to the new anti-pollution standards. The increase should also benefit the power, which could climb up to 130 horsepower for the 990 Duke. In terms of equipment, we find the WP Apex fork of the current 890, while the brakes are branded KTM and have a diameter that seems smaller than the 320 mm used on the 890. Already noted on previous stolen photos of the development of the bike , the difference in the swingarm seems to be confirmed, as is the new front end, which is reminiscent of that of the new Suzuki GSX-S1000. Distrust all the same, this block does not seem final in the state. On the aesthetic side again, the future KTM 990 Duke confirms its salient angles, from the tank to the side fairings. A feature that has become a trademark for KTM

  1. Can't wait for the 990 Duke. My modified 790 has been a blast, with it's light weight makes it very agile. Reminds me of riding a dirt bike and hopefully KTM keeps that vibe. I'll be trading the 790 for a 990 come 23-24!!
