Moto Yamaha XSR125

Mastering the operation of its various platforms at fingertips, Yamaha offers its engines in all ranges and completed its Sport Heritage collection last year by adding a small XSR125, derived from the MT-125 roadster, to the neo-retros XSR700 and XSR900. For 2022, the brand with three tuning forks accompanies its model approved for A1 and B permits with a new Legacy version. Basically, the XSR Legacy remains identical to the XSR125, using the same 124 cc VVA single-cylinder engine delivering 15 hp and 11.5 Nm, as well as the same cycle part with the diamond-type frame, the 37 mm inverted fork, the 267 mm front disc brake... The same goes for the LED lighting or the retro LCD meter.

On the other hand, the Japanese manufacturer has made some aesthetic changes, including the adoption of light spoked wheels with gold rims that contrast with the black trim and frame. These wheels are now shod with large block Metzeler Karoo tires. There are also new patterns that echo the larger displacement XSRs with gold and silver lines on the tank as well as on the side covers. The XSR Legacy also differs from the standard model by the use of a new two-piece aluminum muffler cover.
