The newest smart car revealed itself and announced its 268 horsepower

The Smart #1 is an important new car that has officially appeared after its pictures and specifications were announced, and it comes with a crowd-pleasing design with a stylish look, plenty of technology, and an all-electric powertrain. The newest Smart cars carry an exterior design inspired by its sister concept, Smart Concept #1 that was revealed over the past year. Through voice commands, the SMART provides passengers with a 12.8-inch infotainment screen, while behind the steering wheel is a 9.2-inch digital instrument panel.

This fully electric car relies on a single engine that generates 268 hp (200 kW) and 343 Nm of torque. It derives power from a 66 kWh NCM battery (nickel, cobalt and manganese) that provides power to the rear wheels. Its maximum speed is 180 km. /hr (112 miles/hr). Charging the battery from 10 to 80 percent takes about 3.5 hours when using a 22 kW AC charger, although that number drops to less than 30 minutes with a 150 kW DC charger.  Smart claims that the vehicle will offer a range of 420 to 440 km (260 to 273 miles) according to WLTP standards.
