New Audi Q6 new family SUV will be made in China

 SAIC Audi has unveiled a new Audi Q6 for sale in the Chinese market, and it represents a full-size SUV with three rows of passenger seats, larger than its sister, the 2022 Q7. Although the name of the new car is Q6, there is no relationship between it and the upcoming fully electric Q6 e-tron, as it is based on the MQB chassis, which will be exclusively approved for cars sold in China only. We saw the Audi Q6's exterior from all angles this past March, thanks to China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). The model incorporates cues typical of Audi design for ICE and EV models, such as the monocoque grille and lighting units. Hidden over the large bumper intakes, the front and rear lighting units have full-width LEDs, while the profile is somewhat muscular with a long rear hatch. The car attached, pictures of which are included in this news, is equipped with 21-inch tires painted black.

Audi Q6 exterior dimensions: 

 The length of the car is 5,099 mm. The width of the car is 2,014 mm. The height of the car is 1,784 mm. The length of the wheelbase is 2,980 mm, slightly shorter than the base on which the Q7 is based, and its length is identical to the base on which the VW Atlas depends, which in our Arab markets bears the name of the Volkswagen Teramont, whose version sold in the Chinese market is produced by SAIC Motors. Down to the interior of the Q6 2023 there are 3 rows of passenger chairs that can accommodate 6 or 7 passengers on board, which SAIC calls “Roadjet”, in an attempt to highlight its cruising character, while the interior atmosphere is much higher than it is in the VW Atlas, Standard leather upholstery with color-matched stitching on the 12-way adjustable seats with heating, ventilation and massage functions. The cabin gets a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, a 10.1-inch center touch screen, an additional 8.6-inch touch screen for climate control, and there's also a 14-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system.  

Specifications of the Audi Q6 mechanical car: 

 This car is powered by a 45TFSI 4-cylinder, 2-liter turbocharged engine that generates 262 hp (265 PS) and 400 Nm of torque. It can be ordered with a 2.5-liter 6-cylinder 50TFSI engine with 295 hp (299 European PS), the car accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 7.3 seconds.
