Museum of the Future Dubai displays the Audi e-tron Vision Gran Turismo

Audi Middle East is collaborating with the Museum of the Future Dubai to present its fourth concept car, the Audi e tron Vision Gran Turism, which will be shown for the first time in the region in the “Our Future Today” pavilion at the Museum. This car was originally designed for electronic racing on the PlayStation 4 exclusively, but the German company Audi turned it into a real car, inspired by the company's history and achievements in the racing world. Inspired by the legendary 90 quattro IMSA GTO that thrilled motorsport enthusiasts in the late '80s, the car is equipped with two electric motors on the rear axle and a third on the front axle, all three producing 815 horsepower. Note: Watch a tour full of action and excitement that our Arab GT team did with the Audi R8 LMS GT2. The e-tron Vision Gran Turismo is the fourth Audi concept car to be shown at the Museum of the Future Dubai. In the future, as well as the Audi Skysphere concept, a car that aims to raise the bar of luxury in the future, and change what we know about mobility. The A6 Avant e tron concept was also on display at the museum, which is a symbol of the innovations shaping the future of mobility for Audi. Majed Al-Mansoori, Deputy Executive Director of the Museum of the Future, said: “The futuristic experimental vehicles that we are displaying at the museum in partnership with Audi offer the latest technologies and innovations for futuristic mobility and embody global joint efforts to develop practical solutions to future challenges. The Museum of the Future provides an international platform for global companies to collaborate and communicate with experts and researchers from various sectors and disciplines to develop innovative solutions. Visitors to the “Future Today” exhibition at the museum can examine the innovative models closely and learn about the creative ideas that shape future prospects and contribute to the development of flexible systems such as those for urban mobility. This comes in the context of our commitment at the Museum to expand our international partnerships for the future of humanity.” It is noteworthy that the Museum of the Future Dubai includes a permanent exhibition to present the various future innovations and technologies. In addition to being an architectural masterpiece, the museum is considered a center for anticipating the future, designing creative ideas associated with it, and hosting in-depth discussions about its orientations in various sectors of science, economy, environment and society. “With the e-tron Vision Gran Turismo we present our vision for the future of motorsport,” said Carsten Bender, CEO of Audi Middle East. Thanks to its three electric motors, evenly distributed between the front and rear axles, the car accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in less than 2.5 seconds, providing unparalleled performance in the electric car category. We are pleased to display this concept car at the museum and to inform customers of our future ambitions. We look forward to welcoming visitors to the museum to see the e-tron Vision Gran Turismo concept and learn about Audi’s ideas for future mobility.”
